no, I clicked on help from within the program and there was no option for a manual, I clicked on the "start here" option which took me to the new user quick start info page but a large portion of the information provided there seemed to be for an older version of Robot as some of the options where not present in Robot 2020.
Manual Autodesk Robot
I'm sorry but I refuse to pay for books prepared by a third party when every other developer in the industry provides an actual manual for their programs. Regardless the books you linked to are several versions out of date.
[timestamp 3:22 in video]"click on the reinforcement tab and then number and bars and click apply", this should have a discussion along the lines of this is shown the number of bars required over a unit length, the number of bars is based on the required are and the bar size as defined....???? I don't know where this is defined because I've yet to find it in the manual so I couldn't tell you what bar size the number of bars plot is based on (this is the kind of thing that should be showing up in this tutorial)
The ideal sequence of patrol points will depend on the way you want the NPCs to behave. For example, a robot would probably just visit the points in a methodical order while a human guard might try to catch the player out by using a more random pattern. The simple behaviour of the robot can be implemented using the code shown below.
In 2009 during his senior year, Ellis began researching an aerial robot competition. Five days later, he started the Michigan Autonomous Aerial Vehicles (MAAV) team with 15 members. Within one week, the team kicked off their first quadrotor design for the International Aerial Robotics Competition (IARC). At the end of the first year, MAAV successfully built two quadrotor vehicles capable of manual flight.
Today, Ellis is still the head of the MAAV team while also completing two masters in aerospace engineering and robotics. He continues to use CATIA for all of his designing both for the team and his class projects. He also works at a student lab training other students involved in competitions in CAD modeling and machining.
Until now, Bombardier aircraft have been manually assembled. But the new aircraft, with a diameter of 12 ft, is larger than any airliner the company has ever built. Manual assembly would require time-consuming construction of scaffolding to reach all parts of the plane.
Instead, the company will use six 12-ton robotic arms capable of reaching the top and bottom of the aircraft. The weight, much of it in the base, makes the robots stable enough to accurately install fasteners. Each robot can drill a hole, then rivet or hammer a fastener into the lithium-aluminum fuselage every 32 sec. For composite sections of the fuselage, the process takes 53 sec and includes a step in which sealant is added. Each robot mounts on a movable platform that lifts and lowers.
The company estimates that four robots can join all the fuselage sections in 17 hr. Machine vision on the robots ensures holes for fasteners are accurate to within 0.01 in. There is also a pair of lasers on each robot that projects a crosshair pattern tangent to the surface and centered on the fastener. They can detect if an installed fastener is flush with the fuselage.
iRobot, which makes robots such as the Roomba cleaning robot, uses AWS Lambda in conjunction with the AWS IoT service to create a serverless backend for its IoT platform. As a popular gift on any holiday, iRobot experiences increased traffic on these days.
The serverless solution enables Autodesk to automatically provision accounts, configure and enforce standards, and run audits with increased automation and fewer manual touchpoints. For more information, see the Autodesk AWS Summit 2017 presentation SMC301: The State of Serverless Computing. Visit GitHub to see the Autodesk Tailor service.
With the ML models, Genworth could analyze recent repayment patterns for each insurance policy to prioritize them in likelihood and impact for each claim. This process was automated end-to-end to help the business make data-driven decisions and simplify high-value manual work performed by the Loss Mitigation team. Read the Machine Learning blog How Genworth built a serverless ML pipeline on AWS using Amazon SageMaker and AWS Glue for more information.
To complete the documentation manually would not only be complex, but it could also be dangerous. First, because the water tower was 53 metres (175 feet) tall, it was difficult to access. In addition, there was the ever-present risk of falling and drowning when taking manual measurements of wastewater digesters, open vats that are used to stabilise the solids removed from the wastewater during treatment.
Taking measurements and analysing the data in the officeThe engineers were able to scrutinise the data fromthe comfort of their offices and calculate factorssuch as the necessary rise over run for the pipes, water flow, and specific measurements. Having allthe data at their fingertips enabled them to givea fabricator the exact size and shape of the newpipes they needed. Once they received the pipes, allthey had to do on the site was to assemble them;thus, they saved money on manual labour time. Asa result, the engineers at the water treatment plantwere able to plan their renovations more accuratelyand comprehensively, increase safety, reducecosts and achieve their goals more quickly. Due tothe success of this project, the project managerhas now incorporated laser scanning into additionalprojects. 2ff7e9595c
